• 21st Century Technology Tools - Download the free PDF. It has some great step-by-step instructions for getting started with Twitter on pages 37-44)

Great resources to build your network: 

• Twitter4Teachers Wiki - Find educators to follow that have the same interests as you or teach in the same content are.

   Twitter WhoShouldIFollow  - Enter your Twitter username and the site offers suggestions of like-minded folks you might like to follow. Suggestions are based on profiles of the people you already follow

• Twellow - Search for people with like interests by category

• TwitterSearch - search for keywords on Twitter to find people to follow (for example, enter the keyword "emints" to find people sending tweets at the eMINTS Winter Conference today)
